No adequate studies have been done to demonstrate whether Prednisolone is safe to take during pregnancy or while breast feeding. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or if you plan to breast feed your baby, discuss with your doctor the possible benefits and risks of your particular illness and dosage of Prednisolone. In many cases, doctors advise against beginning a course of treatment whose effects on an unborn or newborn baby are unknown.
