Generic Keftab

Keftab is a type of cephalosporin antibiotic that is effective in the treatment of bacteria infections affecting the respiratory track, skin, bones, middle ear, urinary and reproductive systems. Since Keftab is effective only in the treatment of certain kinds of bacterial infections, it is important that patients consult first with their doctors before taking this medication. Keftab comes in tablet form and is prescribed only for adults.

Patients can take Keftab on an empty stomach. However, in cases when the drug causes stomach problems, then it is advised that the patient take the drug after meals. The medicine is taken at equal intervals as prescribed by a physician.
