Pharmacy Victoria exists because two things are true at once: most of the world's medicine spending goes on big-name brands, and most of those brands have a regulated generic equivalent, often sold under a trusted brand of its own, that costs a fraction of the price. The gap between those facts is confusion, and confusion is expensive. We built this site to close it, with recognised branded generics as the affordable alternative.

What we do

We catalogue hundreds of active ingredients and the conditions they treat, explain each one clearly, and point you to the branded-generic alternative for each big-name original, many of them well-known Indian brands. What we are not

We are not a source of medical advice, and we say so on every page. Our content is educational: it helps you understand medicines and ask better questions, but decisions about starting, stopping or changing treatment belong with a doctor or pharmacist who knows your history. Some medicines require a prescription, and rules differ by country; it is your responsibility to know what applies where you live.
